The Rancher's Secret Child
by Brenda Minton
Marcus Palermo's simple life gets complicated when he meets the son he never
knew he had---and
his beautiful guardian. Lissa Hart thought she'd only stick
around long enough to aid Marcus in
becoming a dad---but could her
happily-ever-after lie with the little boy and the rugged rancher?

My Review:

The Rancher's Secret Child is a good read by Brenda Minton. Who would not want to read a story with a handsome cowboy as the main character? Marcus and Lissa are true to life characters with true to life issues.

I give The Rancher's Secret Child 4 stars. Though predictable, it is still a book not to be missed. A good, clean and heartwarming contemporary romance. I look forward to more by this author in the future.

I received this book from the publisher. This review is 100% my own honest opinion.

Bound by Duty
by Valerie Hansen

aiding her fugitive serial killer brother, his instincts tell
him she's not in league with the criminal---
she's in danger. It's up to him
and his K-9 partner, Star, to keep the pretty single mom alive.

My Review:

Bound by Duty is yet another action packed read by Valerie Hansen. It is the second installment from her Military K-9 Unit series and it did not disappoint. I really enjoyed it. The mystery and suspense kept me on the edge of my seat that kept me turning the pages. I could not put it down until I read it all in one sitting.

I give Bound by Duty a well deserved five stars. I hope to read the next one in the series in the future.

prepared for the bond he forms with her son. Will getting closer
expose her secret---or reveal the
love she has in her heart for her long-ago friend?

My Review:

The Wedding Quilt Bride is a pretty good and quick read. It, also, the second book from Marta Perry's series, Brides of Lost Creek. I found Rebecca's story to be a heartwarming, sweet and fun read. I loved it when she was introduced to Daniel.

I give The Wedding Quilt Bride four stars. I hope to read the first book in the series, as well as, what happens next in the third book.

Primary Suspect
by Laura Scott
Framed for the murder of his ex-girlfriend---and then attacked at the crime scene---
f
ire investigator Mitch Callahan turns to ER nurse Dana Petrie for help. As they fight for their lives, can she be convinced of his innocence---and in his promise of love?

My Review:

Primary Suspect is my first introduction to Laura Scott's work and the fifth installment to her Callahan Confidential series. I thought it was a pretty good read. Mitch and Danna were great characters and I thought they had wonderful chemistry that helped me want to keep turning the pages. With the addition of the action, mystery and suspense.

I give Primary Suspect  four stars and I look forward to reading the prior books from the Callahan Confidential series soon.

Recommended.
